The Last Monday In May
Every last Monday of May, people have off of work and school, and it is celebrated amongst many, but why? The last Monday of May is Memorial Day! It is a day to honor and mourn those who have died for our country to have our continuous freedom. We want to honor those who have died while serving for the United States Armed Forces fighting for our country. It takes great bravery to serve in the Armed Forces, and from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank those who have died for our country. While this is a day when most do not have work/school, remember the true meaning of today, that it is not just a free vacation day, but a day to honor and mourn those who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
